Some sketches of Nahia! The one on the left makes me happy. :-D I don’t know if she’s dancing or just excited, but I love it.
I keep imagining Nahia saying, “Hot diggity dog!” But that’s not Ice Age appropriate. Lol!
I realized that I had started drawing Hodei’s outfit incorrectly several pages back in my sketchbook. I fixed these two sketches to get my mind back on track!

SPX is next weekend! How did this happen? I’m trying to get everything ready asap so I can stop freaking out about it…
I made these little double-sided bookmarks to give out. I’m REALLY nervous about it. I don’t know why. I guess I’m just a little worried that people will go to the site, see I haven’t even started my book yet, feel gypped, and leave? But of course what I hope will happen is people will go to the site, get excited about my book, bookmark my site, and check back frequently to see how I’m doing. Putting everything up on the internet creates a sense of responsibility. If people know about my book and are anticipating updates, I’ll be more motivated to make it happen. I hope that makes sense…
Anyway, I’m PSYCHED about SPX!!! This is my first time going! My main goal for next weekend is to have tons of FUN! I think this will be easily accomplished. ;-)
