Done!
I have a card game I developed for teaching comics that I like to call Story Starter Cards. There are three decks; characters, settings, and conflicts. The students randomly choose one of each and then draw a comic based on the cards with a resolution to the conflict of their own invention. It’s a really popular exercise! Especially with the younger kids.
I drew this comic as an example years ago, but never inked it. My students in July really loved this comic and encouraged me to finish it. I used the same materials I offer my students so I can also use it as an inking example.
I really like how it came out despite the dated drawings! I didn’t change anything. I just inked over what was there. Oh! And in case you were wondering, I got a wizard in a cave who lost something valuable.
