GAAAAAASP!
I can get La Doll clay at Michaels?! :-O I remember when this clay was IMPOSSIBLE to find in the states. I was surprised that Blick had it!
I’m going to go get some today so I can make dollies this weekend as planned! And then I’ll have more when my Blick order arrives. :-3 I really want to try the Cernit, too, but that can wait. I have like a million cabochons so I can try...
No Magic Involved
I talked to Blick and they said that Cernit is not supposed to be super firm or hard to condition by hand. They offered to replace the big block I bought, but I was worried that I would get another bad one so I used my credit to get:
- A SMALL block of Cernit (so I can try again) - A package of La Doll Premier (as a back up) - And a PITT Artist Pen (‘cause I could)

Polymer Clay Wizards?
Do I have to be a wizard to use polymer clay? Or did I just get a bad batch?
I bought a big block of Cernit online because: a) It’s advertised as being soft and easy to use right out of the package and b) It’s one of the stronger clays when fired.
This block is super hard! I tried conditioning a small piece for TWO HOURS to no avail. All I managed to do was to make it a little...
